Although at Renaissance Catering we are not limited by the type of Las Vegas venue you choose, it’s best to prepare accordingly. Once you’ve decided on the type of party you want to have, you can narrow down the list of locations. As we all know, there is definitely no shortage of venues in the area, however, it’s best to have an idea before you start your search.

Serving Style

There is convenience in buffet style dinners vs. sit-down dinners or luncheons. However, we certainly do not cut corners on cuisine or food presentation regardless of what you choose. Buffets and sit-down meals can be as elegant of formal as you want them to be.

Las Vegas Venue Space

If you are planning on having a dance, make sure the Las Vegas venue has enough space for both dancing and seating. The type tables you choose can also save space (round vs. rectangular, for example). Take into consideration, also, whether you will need space for a bar and buffet table(s).

If you are planning on having a band you must ensure that your venue of choice has the necessary wiring for plugging instruments, and the space for setting up. Some Las Vegas venues have small to large staging capabilities, making it even easier to set up your entertainment.

Las Vegas Weather

Weather or time of the year can also be a deciding factor. If it’s cool, you may want to offer indoor seating, as well as outdoor. Providing shelter in case of last minute inclement weather should be considered. Many Las Vegas venues have beautiful indoor and outdoor areas, easily setup for seating and entertaining.

Some venues in Las Vegas have kitchen and kitchenette areas. This provides the flexibility for food preparation on the premises (depending on your menu of choice). Although most of our dishes are prepared in-house, we are flexible depending on the type of event you are having and number of guests you are planning on serving.
